The homeschooling community in the Evansville area enjoys a wide range of homeschool activities including field trips, cooperative classes, foreign language classes, athletic teams, musical groups, dramatic productions, speech and debate clubs, and numerous support groups.

Information Day is sponsored and organized by the Steering Committee for Southwestern Indiana Home Educators and is usually held in June. It is free of charge and open to the public.
